Discovery Phase
Understanding the goals of the website is the most important first step. Are you trying to sell products? Drive phone calls? Book appointments? Educate through a blog? The answers to these questions will determine the layout and calls-to-actions we use on the website.
Sitemap & Page Needs
Once we understand your goals and vision for the website, we will lay out the pages you will need so you will know exactly what content you will need.
Style Guide/ Branding Requirements
If you have a style guide or branding requirements we will review those with you before we begin the build to make sure all aligns. This does not apply to every business. Many small businesses only have a logo, and that’s fine too!
SEO Copywriting
If you do not have content for the website, we will help write the copywriting for the new pages that will be SEO-friendly and help guide users to convert.
Initial Approval
Once the initial staging site homepage is built we will ask you to review and make any edits to the design at this point. Once we have approval on this step we will continue building out the rest of the website.
Pre-Launch Testing
We will be testing the functionality of the website on the staging website first, before we transition the new website to your live domain on your choice of hosting provider (we recommend Bluehost, but we work with most hosting providers).
Final
Approval
Once we have all of the pages built on the staging website, content added, and finishing touches made, we will ask you to review for any tweaks you might want to make before the website goes live.
Migration & Post-Launch Testing
Once you give us the greenlight and hosting access we will migrate the website live! Once live we will test everything, especially the contact forms and links to make sure everything is functioning properly so you can begin capturing leads!
